Scarecrow Contests

Do you or your family love the fall season? Get into the spirit by creating your own scarecrow that will go on display here at the farm for the month of October. Visitors will cast their vote for their favorite scarecrow in each division. 

Enter one (or more) of 3 scarecrow competitions for your chance to win a Halloween $100 gift basket filled with local treats! 

Categories include:

• The Friendly Crows  -- compete for the biggest smiles with a friendly or silly scarecrow

• The Scariest Crows-- compete for the title of spookiest scarecrow

• The Hatchlings -- for our 12 and under competitors

The details:

• Entry fee is $5 and gets you a free admission ticket to Honey Field Halloween (worth $25).

• Drop off your scarecrow at the Honey Field Farm Stand by 10/7 and it will go on display at the farm for the rest of the month.

Voting:

Voting will be both online and in-person. Votes cast in person will be worth 10 points, online votes will be worth 1 point.

Voting for the Scariest Crows will be online primarily, with a special tour for in-person votes on Friday the 13th only! These terrifying scarecrows will become part of the freaky farm tour and will not be available for perusing by the general public.
