Important Notes and Policies

Food & Beverage:

Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. We ask that folks clean up after themselves.

Children & Family Policy:

  • Youth are welcome to participate in our workshops. Children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied at all times during a workshop.

  • One adult with one child may purchase one joint ticket and complete the project together. If each individual wants their own planter, each individual should purchase a ticket.

Restrooms and Drinking Water:

  • One public use porta-potty is available on the farm, it does not have a sink, but does have hand sanitizer available.

  • We do not currently have access to potable drinking water, but have a variety of beverages available for purchase at the Farm Stand.

Clothing and Footwear:

  • Please dress comfortably for the weather— we encourage layers as it can be significantly warmer inside the greenhouse than outdoors.

  • We are a working farm experiencing spring’s frost/thaw cycles , so there is likely to be some mud and/or ice on the farm. Please wear appropriate closed-toe shoes.

  • We recommend a hat and/or sunscreen - the greenhouse plastic can intensify the UV rays and you may underestimate your likelihood of sunburn

Farm Policies:

  • No dogs allowed on the farm. Individuals who need a certified service animal to support a disability are always welcome.

  • No smoking or tobacco use anywhere on the farm.

  • For the bio-security of our greenhouses, individuals are not permitted to bring their own plants, soil, or plant materials to the farm.

  • This is an LGBTQIA+ inclusive space and an Anti-Racist environment. We do not tolerate hate speech, harassment, or discrimination of any kind and reserve the right to ask individuals to leave the farm if they violate this expectation.

  • Please follow all posted signs and do not enter greenhouses that are corded off, or that are marked as closed.

If you can not attend the class you registered for, you may transfer your reservation to someone else, please provide us with their name and email address.

If you cancel your reservation for a class at Honey Field Farm

  • With more than 48 hour notice: 90% refund (minus a 10% processing fee)
