Happy PRIDE! As a queer farm, Honey Field is thrilled to celebrate PRIDE with our community during this special event for LGBTQIA+ individuals and their supporters!
Ticket Price: $49.00
Workshop Description:
Magic is all around us, in the flowers that bloom, in the plants that return season after season and in the queer individuals who embrace their identity and live a bold and glorious life! Join us for a tea party celebrating the magic of fairy gardens and the joy of the queer community in Vermont. We will embrace the whimsical and plant a 10” bowl with plants, fairy figurines, mini houses and magic! The garden can focus on feeding pollinators, growing herbs or medicinal plants, or growing edible flowers– whatever bring you joy and fills your life with plants and magic.
Join us for an afternoon at the greenhouses where we will enjoy butterfly tea and scones under the twinkling lights and take in the sights and smells of all the blooming flowers around us. This event is BYOB.
Included Materials:
Choose three 4” annual flower starts from among the many varieties grown on the farm
10" bowl planter with flower potting soil
Moss, River Rocks and Fairy Figurines to decorate your fairy garden!
Takeaways:
You will leave this workshop with a charming 10” fairy garden bowl ready to set out into your garden. We’ll design the garden together, choosing plants that will work best in either the sun or shade and making sure to build a home fit for any fairy! You’ll also find community with other queer individuals in the Upper Valley as we spend time together at the start of summer.
