Workshop Description:

Fill your home and your life with beautiful succulent and cacti by learning the skills to propagate more plants! You'll gain the knowledge and skills to expand your succulent collection with propagation basics and succulent care! Get an interactive demo on propagation, then choose your own succulents and with help and guidance you'll get to divide them into little babies to take home with you.

In this interactive workshop, you will:

  1. Learn specific techniques for propagating 6 types of succulents and cacti

  2. Find out how to care for your cuttings as fresh babies and as they grow

  3. Get ideas for what you can do with all of your new baby succulents!

Included Materials:

Choose two (2) mother succulent or cacti plants from among the varieties grown on the farm:

  • Aeonium

  • Agave

  • Aloe

  • Cacti (many kinds!)

  • Cotyledon

  • Crassula

  • Echeveria

  • Euphorbia

  • Jade

  • Kalanchoe

  • Sedum

  • Sempervivum

  • Senecio

  • String of Pearls

  • and more!

Takeaways:

You will leave this workshop with your two mother plants and 25 cuttings from your own plants and from the plants of other workshop participants! You’ll also be empowered with information to continue making your own cuttings and propagating cacti and succulents for your home collection. We will discuss succulent care including water, light and soil so that your babies have the best chance of survival after the workshop!

Food & Beverage:

At this event, we will serve herbal iced tea. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages.

Disclaimer: Our Plant and Sip events are BYOB with guests allowed to bring alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, or hard cider. Guests who choose to bring alcoholic beverages are expected to drink responsibly, contain all alcoholic beverages, and ensure only individuals above the age of 21 are partaking. Guests are required to sign an alcohol disclaimer once on site.

Please note, some events may include attendees under the age of 21, who are strictly prohibited from partaking in any alcoholic beverage. Honey Field will always provide alcohol-free beverages at these events. 

Children & Family Policy:

Youth are welcome to participate in our workshops. Children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied at all times during a workshop. 

One adult with one child may purchase one joint ticket and complete the project together. If each individual wants their own planter, each individual should purchase a ticket. 

Cancellation policy:

If you can not attend the class you registered for, you may transfer your reservation to someone else, please provide us with their name and email address. 

If you cancel your reservation for a class at Honey Field Farm

  • With more than 48 hour notice: 90% refund (minus a 10% processing fee)

  • With 48 hour notice or less: No refund

In the event that your class is canceled due to bad weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund.
